If you’ve spent more than a week following me on twitter, by now you should have seen one of dozens of “testimonials” from guys putting into practice one of my favorite dating app bios/openers: Let me spit in your mouth - respectfully.

In fact, just in the past two weeks I’ve had about 10 of you either send screenshots/ask questions about your experiences using this thing, and due to the MASSIVE popularity of this subject, I figured it was about time to do a deep dive in understanding WHY this works so damn well.

Mouth-spitting is a crowd pleaser

Buckle up - today’s substack is going to be juicy (and saliva covered).

For simplicity, I will refer to the famous line as LMSIYMR.

Origins of Mouth-Spitting

Although the idea behind “mouth-spitting” didn’t fully develop until 2019, the seeds of using text to generate female interest were planted in the early 2010s when YikYak launched while I was in college.

For those of you unaware, YikYak was an anonymous message board app that allowed users inside a nearby radius to post short messages for anybody to read.

Truthfully - at the time I was a very horny asshole, who was very bored, and so I figured why not try getting laid using this thing.

It wasn’t because I wasn’t getting lucky elsewhere, but rather, I was using sex as a stress relief from the pressures of engineering school, and so I thought this was a great use of my time.

Over the next month, whenever I was bored, I posted messages trying to get laid here and there.

I tried literally EVERYTHING.

We’re talking about “A/S/L,” “Anybody want to meet for drinks?,” “I have two dicks, who wants to see?”

Did I ever really think this was going to pay off?

Not really, but I did enjoy causing a stir and seeing people react to my antics.

But as I soon discovered, depending on what I did type out, I actually had some form of success rate, as wild as that sounds.

Every once in a while, against all odds, I would have an occasional girl take the bait, and we’d actually start a conversation flirting anonymously back and forth on the yak.

Insane, right?

This is really where the seed was planted, that anything is possible, and you can CERTAINLY secure yourself a few dates purely from using the right combination of text in the right way.
